Lamello Cabineo 8 M6 (Box of 2000)

The Cabineo 8 M6 is a one-piece connector with an integrated M6 x 8mm metric screw, designed for joining wooden panels to materials such as aluminium, steel, or HPL. It is suitable for panels from 12mm thick, thanks to its slim fitting depth, and is well-suited to applications requiring high clamping force and repeatable, wear-free assembly. Compatible with all CNC machines, it requires only surface machining and is perfect for high-quality furniture designed for multiple installations.

The connector is installed into a machined pocket and tapped into place with a mallet. The integrated M6 screw is then driven into a threaded hole or metal insert using a cordless drill, pulling the parts tightly together. Where a thread cannot be cut directly into the workpiece, a Cabineo threaded sleeve can be pressed into the material to provide a secure fixing point.

For centre panel joints, a continuous threaded sleeve allows shelves or panels with Cabineo 8 M6 connectors on both sides to attach firmly to a dividing panel, offering high clamping force, repeatable assembly, and exceptional durability.

Cabineo 8 M6 offers the same fast, dowel-free installation as the standard Cabineo range but with added strength and versatility for mixed-material projects or repeated-use furniture like open shelving with metal frames.

Installation Options:
The Cabineo offers three installation options to suit different design needs. The connector can be installed with the collar on the surface, covering the milled edge and leaving the connector slightly proud. Alternatively, the collar can be recessed so the connector sits flush with the panel surface. For a cleaner, more discreet finish, both the connector and an optional cover cap can be recessed so they sit flush with the panel. If the Cabineo needs to be hidden, cover caps are available in a range of colours to match or contrast with the panel finish.
