Built for fast, accurate cutting without being tied to a cable, the Festool HKC 55 is an 18V cordless circular saw for rip, cross and angled cuts in timber and sheet materials up to 55mm thick. It’s a good fit for cutting boards, battens, decking, OSB, chipboard and other timber-based materials.
This set comes with the FSK 420 cross-cutting guide rail, which connects directly to the saw and makes it much easier to produce quick, straight and repeatable crosscuts. It’s particularly useful when you’ve got several pieces to cut to the same size or you’re working with angled cuts.
The brushless EC-TEC motor runs at 5,200 rpm and works with a 160mm saw blade, giving you plenty of cutting power while keeping the saw cordless. Cutting depth can be adjusted up to 55mm while the angle can be set from 0-50° for mitre cuts.
KickbackStop helps reduce the risk of kickback while cutting and the built-in guide wedge helps prevent the blade from binding in the material. If you need longer guided cuts, the HKC 55 can also be used with Festool FS guide rails.
