Create aged, fumed and smoked effects on interior timber with Rubio Monocoat Pre-Aging. This non-reactive wood pre-treatment adds colour, depth and character before finishing with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C, helping achieve distinctive finishes while preserving the natural grain of the wood.
Suitable for furniture, cabinetry, worktops, doors, panels, flooring and interior joinery, Pre-Aging is available in a range of tones to recreate the appearance of traditional reactive stains while providing a more controlled and repeatable result. Once the desired effect has been been achieved, apply Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C to protect the surface and complete the finish.
