Cordless planing for adjustment, rebating and fitting work. The Festool HLC 82 EB-Basic-Set is an 18V cordless planer designed for quick, controlled material removal in the workshop or on site. It’s well suited to trimming doors and infill panels, adjusting skirting, planing timber and creating rebates and chamfers.
The 82mm planing width and adjustable cutting depth from 0-2.5mm make it easy to control how much material is removed. Its angled spiral blade produces a clean planed surface, while three 90° V-grooves in the planer foot make chamfering boards and beams straightforward.
For larger beams and square timber, the removable chamfer adaptor provides a wider, more stable surface for creating long, accurate chamfers. The brushless EC-TEC motor maintains consistent performance even at the maximum cutting depth, while the quick-acting brake brings the planer to a stop in under two seconds.
The extraction connection can be fitted on either side of the planer, helping keep the suction hose out of the way while you work. A short chip channel is also supplied for applications where a dust extractor cannot be used.
