The Festool PSBC 500 EB-Basic is a versatile 18V cordless pendulum jigsaw designed for precise, controlled cutting without being tied to a cable. With a cutting depth of up to 120mm in wood and consistent cutting performance through larger sections of solid timber, it can handle everything from fitting and adjustment work to sink and hob cut-outs, curves and angled cuts.
The bow handle puts variable speed control directly at your fingertips, while four pendulum settings allow you to adjust the cutting action to suit the material and job. Festool’s enhanced three-point blade guidance helps keep the blade running accurately through the cut, and the saw table can be swivelled up to 45° in either direction for precise angled cuts.
It’s designed to keep work moving too. FastFix lets you change the blade quickly without tools, while the splinterguard helps reduce tear-out for cleaner cut edges. A blow function and switchable lighting keep the cutting line visible, with an extraction connection for cleaner working. The PSBC 500 can also connect to the Festool app, with Bluetooth® functionality for compatible Festool dust extractors.
