Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C is a premium linseed-based interior wood oil designed to colour and protect wood in one single layer. Suitable for interior wooden floors, furniture, stairs, worktops and other wood finishing projects, it delivers a durable finish while preserving the natural look and feel of the wood.
The technology behind Oil Plus 2C lies in its molecular bonding system. Rather than simply sitting on the surface, the oil bonds directly with the wood fibres to create long-lasting protection.
Oil Plus 2C is 0% VOC, contains no water or solvents, and is based on natural ingredients. It is certified for food contact and toy safety, making it a trusted choice for kitchens, furniture, joinery and interior wood finishing projects.
Application
We recommend using the Rubio Monocoat beige scrubby to apply Oil Plus 2C. After application, allow a few minutes for the oil to bond with the wood, then carefully remove any excess from the surface with a white scrubby. The stronger the bond, the stronger the protection, with no overlaps or starting marks in sight.
The included accelerator, Component B, helps improve the strength, durability and performance of the finish while reducing the drying time to approximately 24 hours rather than 48 hours.
