WoodPrep is designed to prepare interior wood for richer colour and improved protection before applying your chosen Rubio finish.
Suitable for use on wooden furniture and flooring, it helps open the wood fibres so the oil can absorb more evenly, giving you a deeper and more intense colour result.
WoodPrep also removes sanding dust and surface residue, leaving the timber clean and ready for Oil Plus 2C. With its 0% VOC formula, it is a practical choice for wood finishing projects where appearance, performance and ease of use all matter.
Application
Vacuum the wood surface thoroughly before treatment to remove loose dust.
Apply WoodPrep evenly across the surface using a white sponge, making sure all areas are covered. Avoid leaving untreated patches, as this may lead to cloudy or uneven results once the finish is applied.
After application, wipe carefully in the direction of the wood grain using a microfibre pad. This helps distribute the product evenly and prevents small puddles or excess product from sitting on the surface.
Allow the wood to dry completely before applying the Rubio finishing of your choice. The surface should look and feel evenly dry before continuing with the finish.
