Made for quick, accurate cutting without having a cable in the way, the Festool HKC 55 is an 18V cordless circular saw for rip, cross and angled cuts in timber and sheet materials up to 55mm thick. It’s well suited to cutting boards, battens, decking, OSB, chipboard and other timber-based materials.
The brushless EC-TEC motor runs at 5,200 rpm and works with a 160mm saw blade, giving you plenty of cutting power while keeping the saw cordless. Cutting depth can be adjusted up to 55mm, while the angle can be set from 0–50° when you need to make angled cuts.
KickbackStop helps reduce the risk of kickback while cutting, while the built-in guide wedge helps prevent the blade from binding in the material. There’s also a spring-assisted plunge function, making it easier to lower the saw into the material at your chosen cutting depth.
For guided cutting, the HKC 55 can be used with Festool FS guide rails.
