The Festool MFK 700 KA EQ-Plus 230V Module Edge Router is a compact edge router made for getting a clean finish on furniture, panels and cabinetry. Once your edge banding is applied, it makes light work of trimming back the excess, rounding the edges and leaving everything neat and flush.
The large 130mm support table gives you plenty of stability as you work and the routing depth can be fine adjusted to 0.1mm. There’s also a built-in ball bearing brake to help prevent marks on more delicate edges and keep the router moving smoothly along the workpiece.
It’s useful for more than just straight edges too. With the right cutter, you can flush trim angled edges from 0° to 45°, while the integrated extraction channel helps deal with the fine chips produced when trimming plastic edging. Its slim, lightweight design makes it easy to guide around larger panels and furniture components and it pairs particularly well with the Festool CONTURO KA 65 Edge Bander.
